Brilliant, thanks Cathie. I think it is important to have some exposure to money and understand it's value to set children up for success later in life. Well done.

Love it. I'm a big proponent of cash, even though I don't carry as much as I once did. I recently took my two to the shops to buy their good behaviour reward and gave them cash to do it. Then I read this article. Really buoyed to know I'm on the right track. As they get older, we'll bring them into the budget conversations as well. Who knows? Maybe we'll have a couple of apprentices for you in ten years or so? :D

Thanks Fred. I agree entirely. Exercise often seems to be the thing that is dropped when time is limited, but is well worth continuing.

I love the bonus tip, it’s not only important when you study to exercise but for everything you do in life there needs to be a balance , and no better way to take your mind of the grind then by exercising.

Really enjoying your articles, Adam. And as someone who is busting their hump to get back on top of the finances after having kids, your advice is timely as well as thought-provoking. I loathe 'bad' debt, and even though we have a tonne of equity in our home, we're still keen to pay it down ASAP--as contingency planning for those unexpected turns in circumstances. Your posts are just the reality I check I need to keep me on track.
